Before establishing The Spencer Firm, Deyka proudly served as a Public Defender in Montgomery County, Maryland, and as a Public Interest attorney for AARP’s Legal Counsel for the Elderly. She also worked within the litigation department and corporate departments gaining a versatile perspective of the legal field. Her diverse background has equipped her with the expertise to represent individuals who’ve been subjected to workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, or wage violations and companies in need of defense work as well.

Jeannine received her J.D. in 2007, magna cum laude, from the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), David A. Clarke School of Law. She received two merit scholarships, including a Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholarship. Upon graduation, Jeannine was recognized with the Dean’s Fellow Award (top 10% of graduating class) and a Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Student Award.
